VP Plant Operations -
To be considered: You will have multi plant
experience at injection molding of a packaging product or container.
You must have minimum a BS Industrial Engineering or a BSME
Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing degree.
The
Vice President will lead a team who will
manage multiple facilities around the United States in the operations
within
the
plastic and paper packaging industry.
At least 10 years experience in a manufacturing
environment
that involves plastic injection molding, thermoforming and flexographic printing. At least 5 years experience in the
packaging industry managing
multiple plants is preferred.
Candidates must possess technical skills in
Lean, Six Sigma
process improvement techniques, ISO, materials requirement planning
(MRP), Overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), distribution and product
planning. Employment
history should show a record of strong results
delivered, demonstrated leadership qualities, and demonstrated history
of success in operations management (i.e. innovative solutions and
measurable P/L outcomes)
Must be willing to travel

Quality Control
Manager
-
looking for someone with strong flexographic
printing experience to spot color inconsistencies Details North East based
Job requirements: Experience working with Flexographic
printing required using wide web equipment. The Quality control
manager will be responsible for maintaining the quality and reliability of our
products. They inspect and test our products at various stages in the
production process. They will be required to set up and perform testing on
materials or finished products to measure product performance under a variety of
conditions and be responsible for the documentation of the test results.
After products have been fully tested, the quality control manager will
evaluate the data. They will prepare summaries to show how the product might
differ from existing standards of quality and reliability. They may suggest
changes in how products are made to achieve the best quality possible. They may
also recommend methods to minimize the amount of scrap, or leftover material,
which is thrown away after a product has been printed. Areas in which the
quality control manager may specialize include product design, purchasing,
inventory control, or research and development. Candidates must have
excellent communication skills. They must be able to deal effectively with
company personnel on levels ranging from assembly line workers to top
management. Full benefits. Salary range in the 60's to low 70's.
Plant Supervisor
- looking for someone with strong flexographic
printing experience at least 8 colors bag/pouch
background. Their equipment is 10 color direct print
and process printing to 133+ line screens. Capabilities to run substrates -
9 pound tissue to 100 pound paper and up to 25 gauge film Polyester,
polypropylene, polyethylene and nylon. Paid relocation to North
East. The Plant Supervisor is for our
Bag/Pouch dept. Supervises about 5 associates. They are looking for
someone with wide web - bag/pouch experience. Salary range in the 60's. plus
full benefits. This is NOT a plant manager's position.
