Most desirable candidates which clients usually hire have these additional attributes, and are the easiest to place
These are:
a.) A four year college degree.
b.) a verifiable track record of success in whatever function you are performing now within the Packaging or flexographic printing on packaging in the form of a brag sheet or an accomplishment page
c.) Computer savvy - skills in ACT or Goldmine, and Excel or a spreadsheet program are - needed for Packaging / Flexographic printing specialties jobs.
d.) Willingness to help us do our job* by sending in the appropriate addendum, accomplishment page or brag sheet, references*, location and income information as explained at without us asking for it multiple times.
WYSIWYG "WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET" Client companies expect recruiters to provide them with the additional addendum page every day in one form or another.
If an employer doesn't see "it" on your addendum page or resume - YOU DIDN'T DO IT - nor do YOU have the required experience needed by THE EMPLOYER to become a candidate for the client company or the recruiter.
PLEASE NOTE: IF your resume has been broadcast throughout the world already meaning if you have been to every job board or recruiter in the world, we can't really help you. Our clients don't normally hire recycled applicants, so think long-term career goals before you broadcast it on every job board ad. Broadcast it just once to one source and it ends up in all sources by the nature of the job boards and resume sending services, they all seem to be inter-connected. Just think, before you send it that one of those sources might be in your bosses' email inbox. Write or call us for better job hunting strategies.
The Addendum * is, as always, an optional submission of course, on contingency assignments with salaries below $65K. All jobs marked retained or engaged demand the addendum.
For more details on these concepts of what we and client companies want of a candidate go to the top and click on resume submission or read down to the direct link under what we need to get started.
REFERENCES*:
Please note: *If YOU are currently employed - business references are waived until the client requests them on a final interview - with one exception, on retained search we will need at least one reference from your immediate past.
If you are unemployed and don't provide business references on your candidacy, we simply will not consider your candidacy without them.]

What New Year resolution we would like to see job-seekers make in 2009!
Improve Your Skills
Professionals should resolve to continue enhancing their skill sets and
marketability. Start by determining where you want to be at the end of 2009 and
list action steps you'll need to take to achieve your objective. Also identify
the attributes in short supply in the marketplace, and build your abilities in
these areas. This will help you not only stand out during the job search
experience but also thrive once you're on the job. By continually strengthening
your abilities and setting and achieving new goals you will be gaining new
expertise, and you will move forward on the road to success.
Stick With Your Values
Seek out an organization that has the culture and values that are important to
you. All too often, we focus on the job itself and don't pay enough attention to
the organization. If you're starting a campaign to find new employment in 2009,
make a commitment to find an organization that aligns with your personal needs.
In the long term, you'll be much happier in your new role and a greater asset to
your organization.
Do Not Burn Bridges
Do not let a company check your references and make you an offer if you
know you will not take the job. It leaves a very negative impression about
your professionalism and intentions. Every person you meet in your job
search is a new connection and you mustn't burn bridges in the process. Today's
interviewer could be tomorrow's employer, customer, or competitor.
Present Like a Pro
Join your industry association and volunteer to be a greeter at the next event
so that you can meet all the movers and shakers in your field. By the end of the
year you just may be the featured speaker at your next industry association
event. Invite your boss to the event and see what happens at review time!
Align With Your Strengths
If you want to be happy, then accentuate your strengths and find a new
position which you can assert a positive influence. Keep Smiling.
Speak Up!
Don't be afraid to say to the recruiter that something's not working or talk
about concerns or questions that you have. Even if you've decided that you don't
like something about the company, the role, or the process, it behooves you to
communicate that as clearly as you know how.
